Here are some tips, which will help you to make extremely original and tasty orange slices.
Cut the orange through the middle and with the help of a spoon ladle out the soft part of the fruit. Prepare sugar syrup of a tea cup of sugar and two tea cups of water. Add dissolved in cold water 10 gr. gelatin to the hot sugar syrup. Add orange, lemon or other essence, too. Add baking paint at choice to the sugar syrup to color the jelly. When the sugar syrup temperature becomes around 30 degrees or it’s completely cool, but not jelly, fill the orange halves. Leave in the fridge for 4-5 hours to full glazing. Tips for cutting: take a narrow and high vessel- it could be a jar, fill with hot water and dip in it the knife every time when you cut an orange slice. Like this, every slice will be smoothly cut.
