We suggest you a recipe for great cheese pastry rolls with yeast.

To prepare these pastry rolls you need the following ingredients: 500 gr. pastry sheets at your choice, 4 eggs at room temperature, a soup spoon of sugar, 200 gr. cheese, 400 gr. yoghurt at room temperature, one packet of dry yeast for 500 gr. of flour, oil, 2 soup spoons of flour, baking paper. Take a bowl and put there the yoghurt, the flour, the sugar and the dry yeast, and stir lightly. Leave the mixture for 5-6 minutes and then add to it the beaten eggs and the cheese, smashed in small pieces. Pour the oil in a small bowl to be easier for you. Coat every sheet very lightly here and there with oil and put 2-3 spoons of the mixture, as you spread it uniformly on the sheet. Fold the left and the right side of the sheet so as to meet in the middle, and then roll on a tight roll your pastry. The tin of the oven holds exactly this dose. That’s why, cover with baking paper the tin and arrange there your cheese pastry rolls. When all the rolls are ready and arranged, spread on them the rest of the mixture. If you want, you can put here and there pieces of butter. Leave them like this for 10 minutes till the oven gets hot. Bake to 180 degrees till golden brown. These cheese pastry rolls with yeast are extremely tasty, soft and fluffy, a real delicacy for young and adults. Serve with a cup of buttermilk for breakfast.

In the first part we showed you separate rolls of cheese pastry, and now we’ll explain how to make an entire cheese pastry with the same mixture.

Ingredients are the same. Coat lightly with oil the tin where you’ll bake your pastry. Place the first sheet, coat again with oil here and there with the help of a brush, and spread 2-3 spoons of the prepared mixture. Put again a sheet, a little oil and some of the mixture and so on till the last sheet. Cut out the as prepared cheese pastry at squares at your choice and spread well the rest of the mixture on the upper sheet. Bake in a preheated oven till readiness. When you take it out of the oven, if you want , you can sprinkle some water and sugar on the pastry and after that cover with a piece of cloth for about 15-20 minutes.
